So on ASB, obviously our van will be a vehicle of recreation, but did you know that Elkhart County, Indiana is the RV Capital of the World!?
Check out the Goshen Chamber of Commerce website for some other cool information!

Much to our surprise, the Goshen – Elkhart combined statistical area is home to some pretty sweet hot spots. So far we’ve found a Rainbo Lanes Bowling, located just 2.3 miles from the church that’s housing us over ASB, as well as a STREET about BEARDS. That’s right – Beardsley Avenue is a thing. The grocery store where we’ll be shopping is located on the corner of said street. Plan on taking several photos involving beards in front of this street sign.
Comment with any other fun ideas!
Oh, and come by the CSC and check out our board square – complete with BEARDED versions of Dorothy & Mike!!

Dear Volunteers,
Exciting news! The Registrar has released the Fall 2011 University Class Schedule… and guess who’s already planning for next semester. That’s right – Dorothy & Mike.
Learning about one another’s extreme OCD has proven to us why we’ve been paired together and how awesome ASB is going to be with two kindred spirits leading it.
Get planning!
Peace, Love & ASB,
D&M
So anyone who came to the ASB Info Sessions or read our volunteer email is well aware that an Amish Couple will be hosting us for dinner.
What you all may not be aware of is that Elkhart County (where Goshen is located) is home to a massive Amish population – one so large that the are has been nicknamed “Amish Country.” Check out this sweet website to learn more about it!
Our plans for the trip from Boston to Goshen are near completion! So far, definite stops include a mystery location in upstate New York, Niagara Falls (time permitting), and South Bend (home to the University of Notre Dame).
Comment if you have any good ideas for stops!
So as Spring Break approaches, it has come to our attention that we NEED a twitter hashtag.
#BUGoesGoshen seems to be our best bet.
So tweet away!
